Terms of Service
Skuade is a free, local, single-developer tool. It runs on your own machine and executes AI agents that can read, modify and delete your files and run commands. It is provided "as is", without warranties, and use is at your own risk. Read Section 7 before running any workflow.
01Service overview
Skuade (the "Service", the "App") is a local multi-agent orchestrator with a web interface. It runs entirely on your own computer and coordinates third-party AI command-line interfaces (CLIs) — such as Claude, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, Devin and Copilot — to execute workflows against a local directory. The App has no API keys of its own: each CLI uses your own subscription and authentication. The Service is provided by Freddy Encinas, an independent developer, on a non-commercial basis with no guarantee of continuity.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
03Optional account & access
Local use requires no account. Only if you enable the Workflow Store (optional, off by default) do you create an account via Google OAuth or an email magic-link. You are responsible for the security of your email and Google account, and for all activity under your session.
04License & restrictions
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, personal license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) use the App for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to harm third-party systems; (c) resell the Service as your own; or (d) circumvent third parties' security controls.
05Third-party AI services
The prompts and instructions you run are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others) through your own subscription and authentication. Such use is governed by each provider's own terms and privacy policies, not ours. You are solely responsible for complying with each provider's terms, usage policies and limits. We make no representation as to the availability, accuracy, continuity or billing of any third-party provider.
06Content & Workflow Store
The Store lets you publish and download workflows (prompt templates). You retain ownership of what you publish; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and distribute your workflow for the sole purpose of operating the Store. You represent that you hold the rights to what you publish.
Community workflows are executable instructions
Supply-chain risk
A downloaded workflow is a template of instructions that later runs with full access to your filesystem. Importing a workflow does not execute it — it only copies it to your local database — but running it inherits that access. Review any untrusted workflow before executing it. We are not responsible for harm arising from workflows published by third parties.
Prohibited conduct. Do not publish illegal content, content infringing third-party rights, malware, malicious prompts, or attempts to harm others' systems. Everything published enters a review state and we may (without obligation) review, reject or remove any workflow at our discretion.
Infringement notice (DMCA)
If you believe a published workflow infringes your copyright, send a notice to the contact in Section 13 with: identification of the work, the location of the content, your contact details and a good-faith statement. We maintain a repeat-infringer termination policy and a counter-notification procedure.
07Agent execution & your responsibility
Agents have full access to your system — no sandbox
You expressly acknowledge and accept that, in order to function, the App runs the AI CLIs with flags that disable their permission controls ("dangerously skip permissions" and equivalents). As a result, agents run with full access to your filesystem and shell under your operating-system account, with no container or isolation. They can create, modify and delete files, execute arbitrary commands and access the network.
Their outputs and actions are probabilistic and may be wrong or harmful. You are solely responsible for the prompts you give, for reviewing the agent's actions, and for the consequences. We recommend: running only trusted prompts, using version control and backups, and running under a dedicated OS user or a virtual machine.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or corruption of data, destructive commands, security breaches or damage to your system arising from agent execution. Use of the Service is at your sole risk. AI outputs do not constitute professional advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise).
08Disclaimer of warranties
09Limitation of liability
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those cases the above applies to the fullest extent permitted, and liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, fraud or personal injury is not excluded.
10Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the Service, the content you publish, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights or of AI providers' terms.
11Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis, waiving class or representative actions; small-claims matters and intellectual-property injunctions are excepted. None of this deprives a European Union consumer of the mandatory protections and forum of their country of residence.
12General, support & changes
No support or SLA
As a free, single-developer project, there is no obligation to maintain, update or support the Service, which may be modified or discontinued at any time.
International use
You are responsible for complying with the local laws of your jurisdiction when using the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the current version is published here with its date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
